Both need you signed in to a Letronna account, and both are paid from your credit. See Hosted models and credit.

Speaking a message

  1. Click the microphone beside the composer, or press Ctrl+Shift+V (Cmd+Shift+V on macOS).
  2. Speak. The button turns red and counts the time.
  3. Click it again, or press the same keys, to stop.

It shows Transcribing…, then types what you said at the cursor. Nothing is sent until you send it. If it heard nothing, it says No speech was heard.

A recording stops by itself after two minutes. The sound is kept only while it is turned into text, then deleted.

Signed out, the button says Sign in to use voice input.

Replies read aloud

Switch on Read replies aloud in Settings > Thinking. Each reply is then spoken as it streams, and a voice note sent from a chat app is answered with one. It is paid by the character.

In the terminal, /voice does the same.
